Hiring and Training Manager at Pro Action of Steuben & Yates

Michelle Keeney has a diverse work experience. Michelle started their career in 2002 as a Sandwich Artist at Subway and worked there till 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they worked in the Army National Guard as an Administrative Assistant to 1SG, where they were responsible for case management and letter writing, along with additional duties as a generator mechanic. In 2012, Michelle joined Pro Action of Steuben & Yates, Inc. as a Sr. Registrar, where they handled renewal and initial applications and inspections of registered providers and potential providers for family day care and school age child care. Michelle also worked on daycare investigations in collaboration with other agencies. In 2020, they became the Manager of Registration, Legally Exempt, and Family Services at Pro Action of Steuben and Yates, INC. and Child Care Aware of Steuben and Schuyler. Most recently, Michelle took on the role of Hiring and Training Manager at Pro Action of Steuben & Yates, Inc. starting in July 2022.

Michelle Keeney attended Avoca Central School from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a field of study in Elementary Education and Teaching. Later, from 2004 to 2012, they pursued their higher education at Ashford University, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
