Ratnakar Asolkar

Ratnakar Asolkar has extensive experience in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Group Leader - Chemistry at Marrone Bio Innovations since February 2008, after holding various roles including Senior Research Scientist II and Senior Research Scientist in Natural Product Chemistry. Prior experience includes a position as Postgraduate Research Chemist at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography from November 2003 to February 2008, and a postdoctoral role at the Institute for Organic and Bio-Molecular Chemistry, University of Goettingen from July 2001 to August 2003. Ratnakar Asolkar began a career in research at the National Institute of Oceanography in India, advancing from Junior Research Fellow to Senior Research Fellow between November 1993 and June 1998. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Goa University and University of Goettingen (1996-2001), an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Goa University (1991-1993), and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Goa University (1986-1991).
