Carla Dowden has over 30 years of work experience in various human resources and management roles. Carla began their career in 1988 as an Assistant Business Office Manager at Internal Medicine Inc., where they provided business leadership and support. In 1994, the practice evolved into Jefferson City Medical Group, and Carla continued as the Director of Human Resources until 1999. Carla then joined Wren Solutions as the Director of Human Resources, where they established personnel policies and procedures and led the management staff in recruitment, employee training, compensation, and benefits. In 2010, Carla joined PFSbrands as the Director of Human Resources before being promoted to Vice President of People Success in 2014. At PFSbrands, a wholesale food and equipment company, they oversaw employee ownership and multiple foodservice brands.
