James Robinson

James Robinson is a U16s Girls Academy Coach at Leeds United since November 2023, focused on player development and collaboration across age groups. Currently a PhD Researcher at Pro Football Support, James studies elite youth football players utilizing the Information Processing Approach and Ecological Dynamics theory. Previously served as a Sport Scientist, managing fitness coaching for Premier League Category 1 youth teams, and worked as an Academy Football Coach at Hull City, leading development centers for young talent. A development coach at Physical Foundations and a football scout for iScout Ltd, James conducted talent identification and player recruitment. Academic achievements include a PhD from the University of Hull and an MSc in Sport Science.
