Chip Meyers has a lengthy and diverse work experience. Chip started their career at Nationwide Insurance in 1992, where they held various roles such as Personal Lines Technician, Personal Lines Underwriter, Field Property Claims Adjuster, Large Loss Property Claims Adjuster, Property ACE Team Specialist, and Home Care Manager. Chip then became the Property Claims Manager/Regional Catastrophe Coordinator, responsible for leading a property claims unit and coordinating staff and independent adjusters during catastrophe events. In 2005, they joined Pro-Klean Cleaning & Restoration Services, Inc. as the Director of Operations. Chip later worked at United Cleaning & Restoration, LLC as the Operations Manager before returning to Nationwide Insurance as the Property Claims Manager.

Chip Meyers attended SCSU from 1987 to 1991 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business. In addition, they also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Southern Connecticut State University in 1991.
