Roland van Rooij

Roland van Rooij is a seasoned professional in the field of mental health management and training, currently serving as a Senior zorgmanager at Pro Persona since April 2001, overseeing HIC De Braamberg and managing various clinical departments for adults, including psychotic patients. Roland has also held roles in sociotherapy and mental health rehabilitation, alongside being an Account Manager/trainer at Kudding & Partners since September 2012, where training focuses on verbal and physical aggression management. Additionally, Roland worked as a lecturer on motivational interviewing at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen and has provided training internationally through the Global Initiative on Psychiatry in partnerships across Eastern Europe. Early career experience includes serving as a sports instructor at the Ministry of Security and Justice. Roland’s educational background includes studies at VDO Hogeschool Arnhem Nijmegen and MDGO-sport en bewegen, enhancing the expertise in both therapeutic and rehabilitative practices.
