Nicholas Jones has extensive experience in the basketball industry. Nicholas began their career as a Youth Basketball Referee at Pitt County Parks and Recreation in 2011 and later worked as a PAL Staff Assistant at the Police Athletic League. In 2012, Nicholas served as a Basketball Camp Coach at Baylor University, The University of Memphis, and The University of Texas. Nicholas then joined San Juan Diego High School as a Varsity Boys Assistant Basketball Coach and Head Junior Varsity Coach. Nicholas also worked as an NIKE EYBL Tournament Worker for Nike in 2014.
In 2015, Nicholas started working at Myers Park High School as a CTE Business Education Teacher, Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach, and eventually became the Boys Basketball Head JV Coach. Nicholas continued their journey at Myers Park High School as an IB Sports Exercise Health Science Teacher and Assistant Boys Varsity Basketball Coach starting in 2019.
Additionally, Nicholas gained experience in the collegiate basketball scene at East Carolina University as a Men's Basketball Graduate Assistant and Boys Basketball Camp Coach.
Nicholas'smost recent work experience is with Pro Skills Basketball, where they held various coaching positions. Nicholas served as the Team Curry 16u Head Coach, PSB Elite 16u HC, and 15u Elite Head Coach. Nicholas also worked as an Assistant Coach for the 16u Elite Team, assisting in the Under Armour Circuit.

Nicholas Jones has a diverse education history, spanning from 2008 to 2018. Nicholas began their academic journey at East Carolina University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sports Studies from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they also pursued a specialized course in Basketball Scouting & GM at Sports Management Worldwide in 2012.
After completing their undergraduate studies, Nicholas returned to East Carolina University to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sports Management. Nicholas successfully graduated from this program in 2013.
