Daniel D’Errico

Library Manager at Pro Sound Effects

Daniel D’Errico is currently the Library Manager at Pro Sound Effects. Daniel has previously worked as a sound designer, sound editor, and percussionist.

Daniel D’Errico began their career in 2004 as a percussionist for the Brazilian Samba band, Samba Tremeterra. Daniel then went on to work with AfroBrazil from 2006 to 2009. In 2008, they developed the "Centro Presente Beatmaking Workshop", a series of weekly classes teaching young music lovers how to create their own beats through sequencing and sampling.

From 2010 to 2013, D’Errico worked as a sound designer, creating audio content in the form of software instruments for Ableton Live, Logic, Kontakt, and Renoise audio platforms. In 2015, they began working as a sound editor for Re-recording mixer Eli Cohn. Daniel continued working in this role until 2016 when they took on their current position at Pro Sound Effects.

Daniel D’Errico is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where they earned a BFA in Sound/Film/Video. Daniel also holds an Audio Technology Diploma from SAE NYC. Daniel’s professional experience includes work in the field of Sequential Art and Sound Design, which they studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Daniel D’Errico reports to Douglas Price, Founder & President. They work with Jeremy Siegel - Licensing Director, Andrew Emge - Marketing Manager, and David Forshee - Product Manager.
