Shellese C.

Shellese C. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cancer research and educational initiatives. Currently serving as an Engagement Manager at Proactive Worldwide since November 2016, Shellese also held positions as a Senior Analyst and Analyst within the company. Prior roles include a Postdoctoral Fellow at Vanderbilt University and a PhD Candidate at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where research focused on molecular mechanisms of oral cancer bony invasion. Shellese has contributed to STEM education as a Science Teaching Fellow at Vanderbilt University and engaged in various research fellowships throughout academic career, including developing algorithms for ocean current prediction and studying ovarian cancer migration. Shellese earned a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of the Virgin Islands.
