Aaron Hamming

Aaron Hamming has extensive work experience in risk management and data analytics. Aaron is currently working as a Data and Technology Manager at ProAssurance, where they manage a team and utilizes their expertise in risk management law and data analytics to transform complex data into actionable insights. Prior to this role, Aaron worked as a Senior Risk Consultant at Michigan Professional Insurance Exchange (MPIE) for more than four years, specializing in investigating medical professional liability claims. Aaron also has experience as a Senior Risk Advisor and Business Intelligence Analyst at ProAssurance, where they conducted statistical analysis and investigation of medical professional liability claims. Additionally, Aaron has worked as a Debate Coach at Grand Rapids Christian High School, a Team Leader and Senior Examiner at Michigan Performance Excellence, a Board of Directors member at Chamber Choir of Grand Rapids, an Attorney at the Law Office of Aaron R. Hamming, PLLC, and a Law Clerk at William Azkoul, P.C., 17th Circuit Court, and Ionia County Prosecutor's Office. Throughout their career, Aaron has consistently demonstrated strong analytical skills and a passion for risk management and legal analysis.

Aaron Hamming attended Western Michigan University from 1996 to 2001 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Following that, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Litigation at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, from 2008 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Aaron obtained a certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) from the American Hospital Association in July 2019. Aaron also received a certification as a Quality Improvement Associate from the American Society of Quality in June 2014. Most recently, in June 2021, Aaron attained the title of Certified Healthcare Ethics Consultant from the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities.
