Msri Heather van Bibber

Heather Van Bibber, MSRI has extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on healthcare. Heather is currently the Vice President of Hospitals and Integrated Health Systems at ProAssurance since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Assistant Vice President, Healthcare - Hospitals & Physician Groups at Chubb from November 2019 to August 2022.

Before joining Chubb, Heather worked at OneBeacon Insurance Group, where they served as the Vice President, Underwriting - Midwest Underwriting Manager from October 2018 to September 2019. Heather also held the role of AVP, Complex Risks from December 2017 to October 2018.

Prior to their time at OneBeacon, Heather was with CNA Insurance, where they held the positions of Healthcare Consulting Director from October 2016 to December 2017, and Healthcare Underwriting Consultant - Hospitals, Allied Health, and Physician Groups from March 2014 to December 2017.

Heather began their career at The Doctors Company in 2007, where they held various positions including Underwriting Manager from October 2010 to March 2014, Underwriting Supervisor from April 2009 to October 2010, and Senior Underwriter from March 2007 to April 2009.

Heather started their career in the insurance industry at OHIC Insurance Company in 2002, where they worked as an Underwriter from January 2005 to March 2007, and as an Underwriting Assistant from March 2002 to January 2005.

Heather Van Bibber, MSRI, holds a Master of Science degree in Risk & Insurance from Butler University, which they earned from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration & Marketing from Franklin University, completing their studies from 2001 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained two certifications. Heather is licensed as a Surplus Lines Insurance Broker by the State of Ohio, which they acquired in February 2020. Furthermore, they also hold an Insurance Agent license in Property & Casualty, achieved in January 2012, also from the State of Ohio.
