Andy McShea

Andy McShea is the current VP of Operations at Probi. Previously, they were the Executive Manager of Life Sciences at Capital Technologies, Inc., where they were responsible for managing life science investments, conducting due diligence, and developing investment theses. Andy also served on the Board of Directors for several companies, and was interim CEO, external advisor, or interim SVP Operations as needed. Prior to that, Andy worked as a grant consultant for the National Institutes of Health, reviewing over 100 grant proposals for new diagnostics and therapies for infectious diseases. Andy also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Theo Chocolate from 2007 to 2014.

Andy McShea received a Bachelor of Science in Immunology from the University of Wales. Andy then attended Harvard Medical School for their graduate training in bioengineering and biomedical engineering. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Vienna.
