Cristina Teixeira

Cristina Teixeira is a Senior Scientist at Probi AB since September 2018, providing scientific support for the regulatory group in the characterization of probiotics for registration in various regions including the EU, APAC, and US/Canada. With a strong background in research, Cristina has contributed to project management processes and innovation in R&D, aided in the development of solid oral delivery technologies, and supported business development and M&A activities. Previous roles include work as a consultant at Viscosense focusing on food labeling compliance, a research engineer at Lund University investigating dietary fiber utilization, and a PhD candidate studying barley malt characteristics. Cristina holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering and Applied Nutrition from Lund University and Chalmers University of Technology, and has experience in community management and early-stage research.
