Virgilio Lozano has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Virgilio started their career in 1997 at Nortel Networks as an NPI Purchasing Manager, where they managed the procurement process for high-risk components and implemented cost reduction and inventory programs. In 2001, they joined Carrier México and held various roles including Planner/Buyer, Outsourcing Engineer, Supplier Development and Outsourcing Leader, Supply Management Leader, Supply Chain Manager, and Sourcing Manager. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Dematic as a Project & Engineering Manager, where they implemented production plans and monitored critical orders. Currently, they serve as the Director of Operations at Proboca, providing direction and leadership to production, logistics, supply chain, and quality management. Virgilio oversees strategies based on demand and seasonality, and focuses on achieving KPIs based on quality, productivity, and efficiencies.
Virgilio Lozano attained a Bachelor's degree in Instructor of Native Language from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 1995. Virgilio then pursued an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineer and Administrator (IMA) from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, completing it in 1998. Later, they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Logistic Systems (MIIS) from Universidad de Monterrey in 2007.
