Akhila Bhiman

Akhila Bhiman has a strong background in manufacturing engineering and product development. Akhila is currently working at PROCEPT BioRobotics as the Senior Director of Manufacturing. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director of Manufacturing at the same company. Before joining PROCEPT BioRobotics, Akhila worked at Fresenius Medical Care North America, where they held various positions such as Director of Manufacturing Engineering, Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, and Manager of Manufacturing Engineering. Akhila also has experience working at Abbott as a Contractor R&D Mechanical Engineer III. Akhila began their career at NEMAURA PHARMA LIMITED as a Product Development Engineer, where they were involved in the design and development of a Continuous Glucose Monitoring System.

Akhila Bhiman completed their B.Tech degree in Biomedical Engineering from Sathyabama University between 2003 and 2007. Akhila then pursued further education at the University of Oxford, where they obtained their MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering between 2007 and 2008.
