Fernando Silveira

Managing Director at Process Development Corporation

Fernando Silveira has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Fernando started their career at Ford Motor Company, where they held various roles in quality management and manufacturing. From 1985 to 1990, they worked in the Incoming Quality Area. Fernando then moved on to the Quality System department from 1990 to 1996, followed by the Plant Manufacturing - Quality department from 1996 to 1998. Their final role at Ford was in the NMPD - Launch Department at the Ipiranga Truck Plant from 1998 to 2000.

In 2000, Silveira joined Process Development Corporation (PDC), a global organization providing technical support and solutions to the automotive industry. Fernando started as a Supplier Quality Manager from 2000 to 2004. Fernando then took on the role of Brazil General Manager from 2004 to 2015. In 2015, they were promoted to Managing Director of PDC, a position they currently hold.

Fernando Silveira holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Centro Universitário Braz Cubas, which they completed from 1990 to 1996. Fernando then pursued an MBA in Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2001. In 1998, Fernando also had a brief business-related course at UNSW. Finally, they completed an MBA in International Executive from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração, which took place between 2015 and 2017.
