Wendell Simpson, Ph.D. has worked in the professional world for over 25 years. From 1990 to 1995, they worked as an Assistant Professor at the Air Force Institute of Technology, where they taught numerous graduate courses, advised over 25 masters theses, and conducted and published research. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as a Consultant for The TOC Center and Chesapeake Consulting, specializing in Theory of Constraints-based consulting for manufacturing companies. Since 1998, they have worked at ProChain Solutions, Inc. as a Principal, Director of Client Success Strategies and a Senior Consultant, Solution Delivery. In their current role, they have overall account responsibility to both drive and deliver business, and works with clients from initial contact to engagement closeout with the goal of client success.

Wendell Simpson, Ph.D. obtained their B.S. in Economics from the United States Air Force Academy between 1976 and 1980. Wendell then attended the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and obtained an M.S. in Systems Management between 1983 and 1984. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Operations Management from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business between 1987 and 1990.
