Carlos Gómez Hernández

Carlos Gómez Hernández has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Carlos started their career in 2008 as a Manager at Pets Aluche, where they managed daily operations and maintained positive relationships with staff members. In 2013, they worked as an Accounting Clerk at Bridgemark Financial for a few months.

Carlos then transitioned to the corporate world, joining Lafarge as an Assistant Treasurer in 2008. After a short stint, they moved on to Colliers International in 2016, where they initially worked as a Data Analyst, performing market research, data normalization, and data modeling. Later, they became a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, participating in Agile software development projects and contributing to the testing of a deal tracking system.

In 2018, Carlos joined Visier Inc. as a Data Engineer, developing BI reporting analysis using Visier's proprietary technology and customizing web analytics applications. Carlos also resolved customer requests regarding HR data using various tools and languages.

Currently, Carlos is working at ProCogia as a Data Engineer. In this role, they have been responsible for automating manual processes, creating content, and supporting users. Carlos has also designed and implemented analytics for a product that tracks user happiness, engagement, adoption, retention, and task success.

Throughout their career, Carlos has gained valuable technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in tools such as Power BI, SQL Server, Jira, and Linux Queries.

Carlos Gómez Hernández completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2007 to 2012. Carlos then pursued a Master's degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University from 2013 to 2015, specializing in Administrative Science with a focus on Global Technologies. In 2015, Carlos also completed the Real Estate Trading Services Licensing Course at The University of British Columbia. In October 2016, they obtained the Real Estate Licence BC from the Real Estate Council of BC.
