Douglas Vis

Douglas Vis has extensive experience in the mining and engineering sector, currently serving as Estimating Manager at Procon Mining and Tunnelling Ltd. since June 2021, after progressing from the role of Senior Estimator. Prior to Procon, Douglas worked at Pretium Resources Inc. as a Mine Planning Engineer and Ventilation Engineer from November 2018 to June 2021. Earlier experience includes positions at Dominion Diamond Corporation and De Beers Canada Inc., where Douglas contributed as an Underground Mine Planner and Graduate Mine Engineer, among others. Douglas began their career with roles at Sherritt International and Suncor Energy while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Alberta, which was completed in 2014.
