Lauren Yates-Jones

Lauren Yates-Jones has a diverse range of work experience. Lauren currently holds the position of Head of Communications at Procreate, a role they have been in since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Learning Coordinator at Procreate from July 2020 to September 2022.

Lauren also has experience as a Freelance Graphic Designer at their own company, Lauren Jones Design, from February 2015 to June 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Futago from August 2017 to February 2020.

Before entering the design field, Lauren had roles at Anglicare Tas Inc and Anglican Board of Mission - Australia Limited (ABM). At Anglicare Tas Inc, they served as a Project Officer - Assistive Technology from February 2016 to August 2017, focusing on empowering aged care and disability clients through the use of technology. Lauren also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Anglicare Tas Inc from January 2013 to February 2016, gaining experience working alongside social advocacy researchers, social workers, and business analysts.

As a Youth Ambassador at Anglican Board of Mission - Australia Limited (ABM), Lauren spent time in Papua New Guinea participating in projects and promoting intergenerational and cross-cultural friendship through faith. Lauren also delivered talks on extreme poverty and social justice to various groups upon their return to Tasmania.

Lauren Yates-Jones pursued their education from 2015 to 2018 at the University of Tasmania, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts. Their academic focus during this time was on Psychology and Visual Communication.
