Joseph Heyd is the Vice President & Chief Litigation Counsel at Procter & Gamble. Joseph has been in this role since December 2010. Prior to joining Procter & Gamble, they were a Senior Counsel, Litigation & Preventive Law at General Electric from January 1995 to December 2010. In this role, they represented GE Aviation clients in civil, criminal defense, commercial and constitutional tort cases. From January 1994 to December 1995, they were a Litigation Associate at Taft, Stettinius & Hollister. In this role, they prosecuted federal criminal offenses, including narcotics, firearms, violent crime, conspiracy, and mail, wire and tax fraud.
Joseph Heyd completed their diploma at St. Xavier High School after which they attended The Ohio State University. There, they completed their B.S. in political science and philosophy. Joseph then attended the University of Virginia School of Law where they obtained their JD in law.
Their manager is Susan Whaley, Chief Legal Officer & Secretary. They are on a team with Joe Stegbauer - Senior Vice President and General Counsel - Corporate, Global Transactions and Sector Business Units, Yves De Bruyne - Senior Vice President & General Counsel, Europe & Global Go-to-Market, and Mark Charles - Associate General Counsel.
