Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and Chief Patent Counsel at Procter & Gamble

As P&G’s Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, Ken is responsible for managing P&G’s worldwide systems, policies, and programs to ensure the company’s business is conducted with high ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. As Chief Patent Counsel, Ken also is responsible for protecting P&G’s innovations with the strongest possible Intellectual Property.

Over his 27+ year career at P&G, Ken has held positions in the U.S. and in Asia (Japan), gaining mastery across a variety of legal and business areas, including spending significant time in each of P&G’s ten business categories. Since 2012, Ken has provided legal support for the P&G Board of Director’s Innovation & Technology Committee. And in his current role, he provides support for the Board’s Audit Committee.

Ken’s leadership style is grounded in his belief that the promises you make and keep define you— and is fueled by P&G’s principle that doing what is right is the only way to do business. Outside of P&G, Ken serves as Board Chair for the Better Business Bureau self-regulatory organization, and he is on the boards of several local nonprofit organizations. He serves as P&G’s senior Executive Liaison to the University of Cincinnati, where he has also served as Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
