Luis Avila is the Business Development Director at ProducePay. Luis has over 10 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the food and finance industries. Luis has a deep understanding of sales strategies and proven experience maintaining long-term B2B partnerships.

Prior to joining ProducePay, Luis was the Director of Business Development- Americas at a produce company. Luis was responsible for leading and building out a sales team, developing new markets, and creating sales-based incentives and best practices/ processes. Luis also forecasted and achieved key business metrics, was named #1 fintech of 2020, and led sales visits and negotiations with key strategic accounts.

Luis has a strong network in the produce industry as well as finance and fintech. Luis is well-positioned to continue developing ProducePay's business relationships and grow its customer base.

Luis Avila has a master's degree in public administration from the University of Oklahoma and bachelor's degrees in economics and computer science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Eastern Oklahoma State College, respectively.

Their manager is Pablo Borquez Schwarzbeck, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Benjamin Dusastre - Co-founder And President, Gilles Marchand - Chief Product Officer, and Heerva Macwan - Human Resources Director.
