Christine Z.

Christine Z. has over 15 years of professional experience in the healthcare industry. Christine began their career in 2005 as a Sr. Process Engineer for GE Healthcare. In 2007, Christine Z. began working as a Process Improvement Program Consultant for Quality, Regulatory, and Process Improvement, and as a Quality Process Improvement Program Manager (consultant) for Medtronic - Physio Control. In 2012, Christine Z. joined Philips Healthcare as a CAPA Project Manager. In 2017, they began working as a Guest Faculty for the University of Washington. In 2020, Christine Z. became the VP Regulatory, Quality and Clinical Affairs for Aqualizer. In 2021, they joined Product Creation Studio as the Director of Quality, and in 2022, they became an Angel Investor for Apis Health Angels. Christine Z. is currently the Founder and Managing Consultant of Gish Consulting LLC, a position they have held since 2010.

Christine Z. is currently pursuing a MS in Biomedical Regulatory Affairs from the University of Washington, which they began in 2010 and is expected to complete in 2021. From 2016 to 2019, they studied Medical Product Regulation at the BSI Training Academy. Prior to that, Christine earned a BA in International Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin, with concentrations in Biology and Communication. Christine also has coursework in Quality Assurance from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), coursework across the field of Medical Writing from the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA), and a Technical Writing Certificate from Bellevue College. Additionally, Christine has a Medical Technology (Medical Laboratory Science) degree from Presbyterian Medical Center (Novant Health). Her certifications include Lead Auditor ISO 13485:2016 (TPECS) from BSI (obtained in June 2016), Certified Quality Auditor - ASQ-CQA from ASQ (obtained in December 2009), and Medical Technologist - MLS/MT(ASCP) (Registered) from ASCP BOC.
