Gina Longman has been working in the engineering and product development field since 1998. Gina began their career at Kenworth Truck Co. as a Design Engineer, and was later promoted to Senior Design Engineer. During their time at Kenworth, they were involved in the development of fuel, air intake and exhaust systems, and secured a utility patent on a hood lock release system. In 2005, they joined Pacific Market International as Design Engineering Manager and was later promoted to Director of Design Engineering. In this role, they managed the design engineering, research and development, and manufacturing departments for the Stanley, Aladdin and Migo brands. Gina was responsible for developing food and beverage containers and introducing new materials, surface decoration and manufacturing methods. In 2014, they started working as an Independent Consultant, providing R&D, design engineering and manufacturing consulting services to global Consumer Product companies. Since 2015, they have been working as a Senior Project Manager at Product Creation Studio, managing project teams and assisting clients in the development of Medical, Consumer and Industrial products.
Gina Longman attended the University of Washington from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.
