Alfonso T. García-Sosa

Alfonso T. Garcia-Sosa is an experienced data science professional and academic with a strong focus on time series, signal processing, and machine learning. Currently serving as Tech Lead at Proekspert AS since October 2022, Alfonso also holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Tartu, where responsibilities include leading Drug & Molecular Design and Data Science teams, while contributing to various scientific journals as an Editorial Board Member. Previous roles include Senior Research Fellow and Research Fellow at the University of Tartu, as well as postdoctoral positions at Mayo Clinic and the University of Ghent. Education includes a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. One publication has been recognized as among the 'Hottest in Biochemistry' by Wiley.
