Bonnie Leonhardt

Bonnie has a career in higher education that spans 30 years. Having been both a ranked professor and a part-time instructor, she has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in management and organizational topics. She developed online courses and certificate programs beginning in 2000 and served as chair in both undergraduate and graduate departments. She founded the contract training division for St. Ambrose University.

Bonnie holds three degrees from the University of Iowa. She earned a B.A. with Honors in European Literature and Thought, an M.B.A., and a Ph.D. in Business Administration.

Among her other interests, Bonnie has a passion for agriculture and history. She secured a grant to aid farming families that were victims of floods in 22 counties of Iowa and Illinois; and she co-authored a historical biography in the Historical Society’s biography series. She also adopts senior dogs to provide them with a great home for the remainder of their life.
