Mike Hovorka

Mike Hovorka has extensive experience in the background screening industry, currently serving in multiple roles at NAPBS since January 2015, including Member of Industry Practices and the Board of Directors. Previously, from April 1997 to July 2024, Mike held various leadership positions at Orange Tree Employment Screening, culminating in the role of VP of Research and Vendor Partnership, where responsibilities included managing US and international partnerships, overseeing acquisitions, and enhancing service offerings. Educational qualifications include a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Motorola University and a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Metro State University, complemented by associate degrees in Liberal Arts and Law Enforcement from North Hennepin Community College.
