Ebrahim Bagheri

Ebrahim Bagheri serves as the NSERC/Warranty Life Industrial Research Chair in Social Media Analytics at Ryerson University since August 2012, leading a research program focused on social and semantic technologies. Ebrahim also holds positions as a Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Social Information Retrieval and Software and Semantic Computing, and has progressed through various academic roles at the university. In addition, Ebrahim co-founded Reviewer.ly in August 2020, aiming to improve the exploration of scientific literature. Other professional affiliations include being a Faculty Fellow at IBM, a Senior Member of IEEE, a licensed Professional Engineer with PEO, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Brunswick. Ebrahim has previously held positions at Athabasca University, The University of British Columbia, and the National Research Council as a Research Associate.
