Miranda Jewess

Miranda Jewess has extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as Publishing Director and previously as Editorial Director and Senior Commissioning Editor at Profile Books since February 2019. Prior to this role, Miranda held multiple positions including Acquisitions and Managing Editor at Titan Publishing Group Limited from July 2012 to January 2019, where responsibilities included acquiring and commissioning titles in crime, science fiction, horror, and fantasy. Miranda also worked at The History Press from September 2007 to June 2012, focusing on military history titles as an Editor. Miranda Jewess holds a BA Hons in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and completed high school at St Helen and St Katharine, with studies in History, Classical Civilisation, and English Literature.
