Rick Whitman

Rick Whitman has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Rick began their career as a Member Technical Staff at Computer Sciences Corporation in 1982 and worked there until 1990. Rick then joined the Space Telescope Science Institute as a Senior Software Systems Engineer and remained there until 2001. Following this, Rick worked at Ciena as a Lead Software Applications Engineer from 2001 to 2007. Currently, they are employed at Profiscience Partners as a Senior Software Engineer.

Rick Whitman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Later, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, studying from 1993 to 1996.
