Kim Ticer Butcher has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kim began their career at American National in 1996 as an Assistant Office Administrator/CSR. Kim then joined Resource Life Insurance Co. as a Senior CSR/CSR in 1997. In 2000, they worked as a Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary at Ted B. Lyon & Associates before moving to Holiday Inn Select as a Sales & Catering Assistant from 2002 to 2003. Kim then transitioned to Macori, Inc. as a Client Services/Account Manager from 2004 to 2010, where they excelled in managing customer service and sales calls, as well as providing assistance with inquiries and invoicing.
In 2010, Kim joined AIG as a Senior Account Manager and played a key role in coordinating various aspects of educational markets related to Student Health Insurance Plans. Kim managed enrollment, state mandates, and underwriting, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Alight Solutions as a Healthcare Customer Advocate, supporting one of Alight’s largest clients. In this role, they assisted employees with health insurance benefits, life insurance inquiries, claims, access to care, and various other inquiries/issues related to Health and Welfare benefits. Kim also coordinated with carrier contacts and providers to resolve inquiries and assisted with special outreach projects.
Currently, Kim is employed at Questco Companies, where they started as a Benefits Account Specialist in 2019 and is currently working as a Benefits Account Manager.
Kim Ticer Butcher has studied Pre-Nursing Studies at St. Philip's College. In addition, they have obtained certifications as an Insurance Agent for Accident, Health, Life, Variable Life & Variable Annuities from the Texas Department of Insurance in June 2019 and as a Notary Public from the State of Texas in April 2010.
