Lou Cloninger

Lou Cloninger is a seasoned tax and accounting professional with over 30 years of experience. Currently serving as a Tax Manager at Profit Matters since July 2022, Lou has held various leadership positions, including Manager at Matt Coffey, CPA-PLLC and Accounting Consultant at both Vaco and AMTdirect. Previous experience includes roles as an Accounting System Consultant at Elliott Davis, Consultant for Oracle Applications Cloud at brij, and Associate Accounting Manager at J D North America Corp, where significant contributions were made to accounts receivable processes. Lou operated a personal CPA firm focusing on individual and small business taxes for over a decade and has held accounting management roles at Ladd, McCall & Associates and Cherry Bekaert LLP. Lou earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
