Gianluigi Valla

Gianluigi Valla has an extensive background in business development and commercial management within the engineering and oil & gas sectors. Currently serving as the Business Development Director at PROGER s.p.a. since January 2017, Gianluigi previously held the position of Commercial Manager at Saipem from March 2014 to November 2016. Prior experience includes a long tenure as Sales Manager at Tecnomare, where responsibilities encompassed marketing and sales for a range of services and products. Gianluigi also worked as the Technical & Marketing Manager for the joint venture between Tecnomare and Det Norske Veritas, and began their career as an I&C Engineer at SDI, following a role as a Lieutenant Commander in the Italian Army. Gianluigi holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, completed between 1973 and 1978.
