Recia Howard

Recia Howard is a seasoned Human Services Professional with extensive leadership experience, currently serving as Program Director at Programs for Parents, Inc. since August 2010. With a strong background in business operations, Recia specializes in developing business expansion programs and has significant expertise in child care resource and referral agencies. Prior to this role, Recia was the owner of Poise & Ivy, LLC, a company focused on providing consultation and coordination for weddings and special events from 1995 until February 2022. Additionally, Recia co-owned and operated Blue Life Enterprises, Inc. from April 1993 to September 2009 and briefly owned Great EdVentures in 2011. Recia's earlier career includes serving as FCC Manager at the Urban League of Hudson County from 1997 to 2003. Recia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University.
