Katherine Machnich

Katherine joined Progress Partners as Head of Capital Markets in 2021. She plays a vital role at the firm by being the point of contact between all financial institutions, including private equity, growth equity, venture capital, and family offices. She’s in charge of managing, strengthening, and expanding the relationships with these firms across Progress’ service offerings.

Prior to joining Progress Partners, Katherine worked at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. for nearly a decade. Her first role was on the institutional side where she worked with the firm’s ETF clients. Katherine also worked for the private bank where she managed investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals (HNWI). Her client base included business owners and public & private company executives who underwent frequent M&A activity.

Katherine earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Marketing at Simmons College.
