Dustin Budzene

Dustin Budzene is a highly skilled Software Engineer at Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company, since June 2013, where responsibilities include managing a detection system designed to alert locomotives of defects to prevent derailments, alongside writing, building, testing, and implementing related products. Previous experience includes serving as a Production Technician, engaging in parts assembly and production documentation, with competencies in soldering, wiring, and calibration. Additionally, Dustin held the position of Sergeant in the Army National Guard from February 2009 to January 2021, overseeing the training, welfare, and safety of soldiers while ensuring the effective operation of military equipment. Dustin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from DeVry University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and IT at Western Governors University.
