Jake Jang

Jake Jang is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in C++ and Ruby development. Currently employed at Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company, since May 2018, Jake developed a ModbusUDP temperature sensors monitoring application and a Moxa ioPAC8020 Workflow application. Previous roles include software engineering at Vix Technology, where Jake contributed to the Device Management Framework team, and software development at Reservoir Rock Technologies and Advantage Air, focusing on C++ and embedded systems. Earlier experience includes developing communication protocols in Java and C# at BISTel and a Wafer Transfer Module Controller at Eugene Technology. Jake holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Dong-A University.
