Roberto Vannini

Roberto Vannini is a seasoned project engineer with extensive experience in the railway and medical equipment sectors. Currently employed at Progress Rail, A Caterpillar Company since March 2020, Vannini previously served as an On Board System Engineer at Hitachi Rail SpA and as a Signalling Engineer on the Crossrail Project with Bombardier Inc. Vannini's engineering expertise includes roles at Faiveley Transport as an OE System Engineer and at Alstom as an ERTMS/ETCS System Engineer, where involvement in major infrastructure projects was key. Early career experiences include firmware development at T&T - Technology and Transportation and technical support for medical devices. Vannini holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, complemented by an Erasmus exchange at Universidad de Huelva.
