Charles McDowell

Charles McDowell has extensive work experience in property management, spanning over several companies and roles. Charles currently works as a Portfolio Operations Director at Progress Residential® since 2018. Prior to this, McDowell held the role of Regional Property Manager at Lincoln Property Company from 2005 to 2018, where they managed a large portfolio of single-family, townhome, and duplex style homes. Charles also worked as a Regional Property Manager Specialist at GID Investment Advisers & Windsor Property Management Co. from 2001 to 2005, where they provided support to property managers in the Midwest and coordinated capital projects. McDowell began their career as a Property Manager at Archstone from 1998 to 2001 and at Drucker & Falk, LLC from 1997 to 1998, successfully managing various new construction and lease-up projects. Prior to that, they owned and managed a dry cleaning business with multiple locations in Tulsa, Oklahoma. McDowell joined Lincoln Property Company in 1990 as a Regional Property Manager, gradually progressing to the role of Property Manager for multiple communities.

From 1983 to 1987, Charles McDowell attended the University of Oklahoma, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Organizational Communication.
