Thomas Behlau

Thomas Behlau is a Senior Software Architect at Progress Residential® since November 2018, specializing in designing serverless architecture using Terraform and AWS CDK, along with standardizing CI/CD processes. Previously, as a Software Architect, Thomas developed a serverless application stack utilizing AWS technologies. Prior experience includes a Senior Consultant role at Isos Technology, where Thomas implemented a student assessment system for California Community Colleges and migrated issue tracking data to Atlassian Jira. As Director of Development at AirToolz Software, Thomas led a team in developing J2EE and J2ME applications. In earlier roles, Thomas served as a Senior Software Consultant for various Fortune 500 companies, developing Java enterprise applications, and started as a Software Engineer at Nortel. Thomas holds a Dipl.-Lehrer in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg.
