Progressive Community Health Centers, Inc.
Founded in 1999, Progressive Community Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that operates three primary care clinics and an urgent care location in Milwaukee’s central city. Our mission is to improve the health and quality of life of the community by providing culturally competent services that address identified needs and aid in eliminating health disparities. Progressive CHC serves patients of all ages and incomes, regardless of their ability to pay. Nearly 90% of our patient population is either uninsured or receives a public health insurance benefit (Medicaid/Medicare). In 2018, we served more than 16,000 patients, a roughly 30% increase compared to the prior year. Our company employs 100+ people and is a certified National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site.
