Venkatesh Ananthanarayanan

Venkatesh Ananthanarayanan is an accomplished engineering leader with significant experience in transforming technology organizations and driving digital transformation initiatives. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Progressive Leasing since June 2023, Venkatesh previously held roles such as Head of Engineering and Vice President of Engineering at Backcountry.com, where innovative vertical domain product teams were established. Venkatesh's extensive background at Gap Inc. spanned over 15 years, culminating in the role of Director of Engineering and Head of Ecommerce and Online Payments, contributing to the development of a global eCommerce platform and system architecture. Venkatesh holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
