Rickard Ahlbom

Rickard Ahlbom has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rickard started their career in 2007 as a Summer Intern at Accenture. Following this, they joined the Swedish Armed Forces as a Platoon commander and later as an Instructor.

In 2008, Rickard returned to Accenture as a Business Analyst, working on high-paced business strategy projects. Rickard was then promoted to Consultant and eventually became a Project Leader, leading teams of 3-6 people on business strategy projects.

In 2015, Rickard joined Bonnier AB as a Manager, Group PMO, responsible for driving and supporting the digital transformation of the company. Rickard later became the Director of Group Strategy & PMO, leading the annual strategy process and engaging in strategy execution for key initiatives.

In 2017, Rickard joined Progrits as the COO and Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing the company's strategy and operations. Rickard later joined Verendus in 2018 as the Head of International Expansion. In 2019, they took on additional roles as the CEO of Verendus and Geschäftsführer (Managing Director) of Verendus GmbH.

Rickard Ahlbom has completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial and Financial Management from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. Additionally, they have also earned an MSc degree in International Business with a focus on Corporate Finance from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
