Michael Olivieri

Michael Olivieri has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Michael currently serves as the Vice President of Network Development, Contracting, and Provider Relations at VillageCare, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ProHEALTH as the Director of Value Based Care, Practice Engagement, where they led a team in improving patient outcomes and reducing overall costs of care using health IT and data analytics.

From 2016 to 2020, Olivieri worked at Mount Sinai Health System as the Senior Director of Provider Engagement and Outreach. In this role, they managed a field-based team and played a crucial part in designing and implementing Population Health Programs.

Before that, Olivieri held roles at North Shore-LIJ Health Plan and Northwell Health, where they served as the Senior Director of Government Programs Sales & Outreach and the Senior Manager of Government Programs, respectively. In these positions, they were responsible for the development, implementation, and strategic planning of health plans.

Olivieri began their career at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York - CHOICE Health Plans in 2005, where they held various roles, including Manager of Network Contracting and Ancillary Contract Manager. Michael was responsible for negotiating contracts and developing networks for different health plans.

In 2003, Olivieri worked as a Network Manager at Healthfirst, where they managed hospital contracts and established strong partnerships with key accounts.

Michael Olivieri earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida, completing their studies between the years 1993 and 1997.
