Tejas Telivala

Tejas Telivala has extensive experience as a medical physicist, with roles at various healthcare institutions. Tejas started their career in 2005 as a Medical Physics resident at Stony Brook University Hospital, where they were involved in acceptance and commissioning of various treatment units and planning systems. Tejas also performed duties associated with clinical medical physics, including QA and treatment planning. From 2007 to 2010, they continued their work as a Medical Physicist at Stony Brook University Hospital, focusing on Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy procedures and dosimetric planning. Tejas then worked at The Farber Center for Radiation Oncology as a Chief Medical Physicist, where they were responsible for acceptance and commissioning of treatment units and planning systems, as well as implementation of new procedures and software. Tejas also performed clinical medical physics duties and QA. Prior to their current role, they worked at Brooklyn Veterans Affairs as a Chief Medical Physicist, where they were involved in acceptance and commissioning of treatment units and planning systems, as well as initiating a SBRT program and assisting with various clinical medical physics tasks. Currently, Telivala holds the position of Chief Medical Physicist at ProHEALTH Care.

Tejas Telivala obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from DJ Sanghvi College of Engineering in 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Stony Brook University from 2003 to 2005.
