Jennifer Lemmerman serves as the Chief Policy Officer at Project Bread, focusing on strategic initiatives to reduce food insecurity in Massachusetts through policy development, stakeholder engagement, and grassroots mobilization. With a background in public policy and government affairs, Jennifer has held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Public Policy and Senior Director of Government Affairs at Boston University School of Social Work. Experience includes serving as Alderman in the City of Melrose, Associate Director of External Affairs at Community Catalyst, Government Relations Manager at The MENTOR Network, and Manager of Field Advocacy for the National Brain Tumor Society. Jennifer holds an MSW in Community Organizing, Public Policy, and Administration from Boston College and a BSW from the University of Vermont.
