Miles Tolbert

Miles Tolbert is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in environmental law and corporate governance. Currently serving as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Project Canary since December 2021, Miles has held various influential roles, including General Counsel for First Oklahoma Corporation and multiple positions at Chesapeake Energy, where responsibilities included Vice President and Associate General Counsel, and interim Vice President for Environment, Health, Safety, & Regulatory. Earlier career milestones include Chair of the Environmental Practice Group at Crowe & Dunlevy and Secretary of the Environment for the State of Oklahoma. Additionally, professional experience encompasses positions at the Office of the Oklahoma Attorney General and the U.S. Department of Justice. Miles earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and holds an A.B. in Classics and Political Science from Stanford University.
