Barbara Rodriguez Droguett, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor at Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo Universidad de Chile since August 2008. As a founding member of CLF Latin America | Carbon Leadership Forum and Director of Research Development at Estudio 150, Barbara plays a pivotal role in advancing sustainable practices in architecture. Current research involvement includes serving as a Research Fellow with Project Drawdown and previously working as an analyst for the Ministry of Energy Chile, focusing on net-zero carbon buildings. Education credentials include a PhD in Built Environment from the University of Washington, a Master's in Public Administration from Syracuse University, and a Master's in Landscape Architecture with a focus on Urban Ecology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Barbara’s research emphasizes urban greening and sustainability strategies for revitalizing blighted urban areas and enhancing socio-ecological connections.
