Kapil Sheth

Kapil Sheth possesses extensive experience in polymer science and engineering, with a notable tenure at SABIC from January 2009 to November 2023, where roles included Research Fellow and Global Technology Leader for High Heat Resins. Responsibilities included providing technical leadership for product development, strategic planning, and team mentorship. Prior experience includes a position as Research Scientist at GE Global Research Center, focusing on crystalline polymers, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where innovative techniques for high-temperature polyimide coatings were developed. Additionally, Kapil has taught as a Teaching Assistant at Smith College and holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science & Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an M.B.A. from Auburn University.
